Woman to Woman employs about 30 staffers (most of them part-time) including managers and directors, social workers, educational staffers, a house mother, counsellors, an attorney, a psychiatrist, and administrative staff.DirectorsNaomi Schneiderman has long been active in the area of gender abuse. Since 2013 she has been Woman to Woman’s Executive Director, having begun her work in 2007 as Director of Resource Development. Naomi received her BA and MA (both cum laude) in English literature at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and successfully completed a course in the Psychoanalytic Systemic Approach to Organizational Consultation.Nurit Naim (MSW) has been the Jerusalem Shelter’s professional director since 2019. She joined Woman to Woman after a wide-ranging career in treating at-risk populations, and for 17 years directed Beit Hatsabarit, a hostel operated by the Youth Protective Services branch of the Ministry of Labor, Welfare and Social Services. Nurit’s predecessors as Directors included Miri Ben-Shalom, Rachel Bialer, and Israela Hirshberg. Yael Miron (MSW) has been director of the Halfway Housing project since she joined Woman to Woman in 2018. Yael’s experience in therapeutic care facilities for women and children includes counsellor and social worker at Atnachta, and social worker and counsellor in the therapeutic foster care division of Or Shalom. |
