Woman to Woman employs about 30 staffers (most of them part-time) including managers and directors, social workers, educational staffers, a house mother, counsellors, an attorney, a psychiatrist, and administrative staff.DirectorsAvia Cohen-Kosher, Executive Director Avia joined Woman to Woman in 2025 as the Executive Director. She has been active for many years in the third sector and civil society. Among her previous positions: Deputy Director of Hut Hameshulash and Director of Resouce Development at Shalva. Avia holds a BA in Communications and an MA in NGO management.
Nurit Naim, Shelter Director Nurit (MSW) has been the Jerusalem Shelter’s professional director since 2019. She joined Woman to Woman after a wide-ranging career in treating at-risk populations, and for 17 years directed Beit Hatsabarit, a hostel operated by the Youth Protective Services branch of the Ministry of Labor, Welfare and Social Services. Nurit’s predecessors as Directors included Miri Ben-Shalom, Rachel Bialer, and Israela Hirshberg.
Yael Meron, Halfway Housing Program Director Yael (MSW) has been director of the Halfway Housing project since she joined Woman to Woman in 2018. Yael’s experience in therapeutic care facilities for women and children includes counsellor and social worker at Atnachta, and social worker and counsellor in the therapeutic foster care division of Or Shalom.
