Community Integration

Even after they leave the framework of the Shelter and Halfway Housing and have moved on to independent lives in Jerusalem or elsewhere, former residents still require, and receive, continued support from Woman to Woman.

 

The Halfway Housing program is adapted to the families’ independent status, as they integrate into the community. This includes weekly support groups, free legal aid, tutorial assistance for the children, help with child care and employment counseling.

 

Approximately 25 families receive this kind of assistance each year.
